Ridge Ambulance opened its doors on June 28, 1995 with one ambulance and a vision to provide quality care & service to the Western Suburbs
Ridge Ambulance & EMS proudly serves DuPage, Will, Kane, DeKalb, Kendall, Grundy, Ogle, Lee, LaSalle, and Bureau counties with a variety of services from emergency transportation to scheduled transportation from Skilled Nursing Facilities, Immediate Care Centers, Physician Offices, Dialysis Centers and more.
Over the years we have evolved into a 24-hour service with a fleet of 50 vehicles staffed with 160 employees responding from 5 locations. We strive to facilitate a professional work environment that encourages the development, education, and growth of our employees, enabling each to achieve their greatest potential.

Who We Service
Our highly trained EMT’s and Paramedics provide timely and comfortable transportation to hospitals, urgent care centers, and other facilities
Ridge EMS provides patient transportation to and from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, immediate care and urgent care centers as well as physician offices and other healthcare providers throughout our service area. Our highly trained EMT’s and Paramedics provide timely and comfortable transportation to our patients. Transportation requests are scheduled by phone or online system.
Our fleet includes 24 Ambulances, including Critical Care and Bariatric Transportation capabilities. In addition, we have 16 Medivans, capable of transporting patients to and from their appointments and meeting their medical needs.
